Today has been very busy and it is now quite late and I am tired. Therefore, consider this post a placeholder until tomorrow, when I can write everything in more detail! And include pictures. (Basically, don't bother reading this yet.)
Bursa: The search for İskender kebap
--Marcos enters the kitchen
--Amy tries to go clothes shopping, with middling success
--Marcos buys gas, and Amy gets free cakes
En route to Çanakkale
--Geez that's a lot of sunflowers
--The road is as bumpy as Mapleton used to be
--Stop at a gas station to take video of wind turbines, get free tea and go to the bathroom
Çanakkale: That's a big horse
--Go to wrong Anzac, which Amy repeats later in the night
--So many shorts!
--Waiting for Ramazan fast-breaking is painful
--Good kebap, weird ayran
--Çanakkale's signature dessert: superior to Bursa's
Tomorrow morning we are waking up early (7:00ish, yuck) to visit Troy, then we're driving to Ayvalık further down the coast for a relaxing evening (of stock footage for Marcos, and probably sleep for me––plus blogging!). I am also finally going to get some baklava, goldarnit!
